An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic individual to join our small, dedicated team making award winning farmhouse cheeses near St Andrews in Fife.
Duties include;
Learn to competently and consistently follow established recipes and methods to make our cheese
Maintain accurate production records
Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety
Operate all equipment associated with production of the cheese
This is a practical role.
The successful applicant will have a ‘sleeves rolled up’ approach and a keen interest in food. Ideally, some transferable skills from a previous cheesemaking/dairy/or other food production environment would be useful, but not essential as full training will be given.
